The Dad`s Army Museum is run by volunteers and will be open every Saturday from March 18th until December 2nd.

We will also open on Tuesdays in Norfolk School Holidays (April 4th, April 11th, May 30th, and October 24th) and Tuesdays in July, August & September. We open at 10am and close at 3pm, entry is free. Photography is limited in the museum.
The Jones’s Van is on show at the Charles Burrell museum from Easter Sunday until the end of October. On Saturdays from 10am until 3pm and Tuesdays from 10am until 2pm the address is Minstergate, Thetford, IP24 1BN. There will be some dates when the van is not available to view; details will be on the website and Facebook page.
There is no parking at the museum but there are several free car parks just yards from the museum.
The Marigold Tea rooms are usually open at the same time as the museum, last orders is 2.30 pm before the museum closes. War time recipes cakes are on sale but subject to availability.
Dogs are permitted in the museum but not Marigolds Tea Rooms.
The statue of Captain Mainwaring is by the town bridge in Bridge Street opposite the Light Cinema and Bell Hotel, IP24 2AZ.
