The museum was delighted to welcome Norman Newboult to the museum on October 10th. He came to the museum with some of his wonderful collection of 1940s projectors and films. They were on show all day in the bunker room. Norman will be at the museum again next year.
New in our web shop, Jones`s Van T shirts. In military green and neutral they feature the Jones`s Van in full colour. These t shirts are available in all sizes including children`s. Pop along to the shop now.
On August 29th the museum was delighted to stage A Jones`s Van day to mark the 80th birthday of the van. We were joined for the day by the wonderful Jayne Darling who entertained the large crowd with songs from the forties. We were also pleased to welcome Jo Pearson whose family along with the Jenkins family enabled us to bring the van home. The event was part of Thetford`s Great festival and we were also joined by the mayor and mayoress of Thetford.
